RESIDENCE IN ARACHOVA II / 2010-to date

This project is a collaboration with Alpha Marine LTD & Alpha Constructions.
 
The overall design is according to the owners demands. The match of traditional architecture with modern and detailed interior design was an important factor through the initial brief.
 
The residence is positioned on the site with absolute respect to the landscape. The main living area is a uniform double height space that communicates with the kitchen but at the same time opens towards the outer sitting area, making full use of the surrounding views. The office, located at the attic, overlooks the entire ground floor space whereas the bedrooms are distributed on the lower levels so as to ensure the best combination of privacy and view.

The building is constructed of stone that was excavated from the site. The rest of the materials were carefully selected in order to provide the necessary warmth needed for a country house such as this.
