PAROS HOUSING / 2010

The design aimed to create four houses that drew from the elements of Cycladic architecture, with clean minimal geometric lines. They had to make the most of the views towards the sea and also manage to meet the owners modern functional and aesthetic demands.

Special attention was given to the poolside and to the pergola areas paved in cement mortar in order to create a continuous space of relaxing spots. The external seating areas are shaded and sheltered so as to function as an extension of the houses.

The main entrance leads to the living areas, dinning and kitchen whereas the first floor accommodates the master-bedroom with its en suite bathroom. The basements, that can also function as autonomous guest houses, consist of three bedrooms with bathrooms and a living area with kitchenette.
