The design aimed to recreate the interiors for a residence complex in Mykonos.
The houses are divided in order to accommodate the needs of different members of the same family. The overall concept draws from the elements of Cycladic architecture with clean minimal geometric lines. Spaces are kept uniform with morphological and construction details that promote simplicity. Modern minimal furniture evoke a pure Cycladic environment.
The building’s white volume features large openings towards the terraces that offer amazing views of the Aegean Sea. The materials used were white plaster, cement mortar for the floors and grey wooden casing windows and doors.
These houses, without any unnecessary ornaments become a peaceful gateway in direct conjunction with the island’s natural surroundings.
