This proposal regards the preliminary study for the design of three identical houses in the island of Evia.
The houses had to make the most of the views towards the adjacent sea and also manage to meet the owners functional and aesthetic demands. The size and shape of the site were also factors that influenced the form and position of the houses in relation with each other but also with buildings in the same area.
The living, dinning and kitchen areas are all located in the ground floor whereas the first floor accommodates two bedrooms and a bathroom. The basement that is linked with the rest of the house can also function as autonomous guest house.
Special care was given in order to unify the interior spaces with the outdoor environment, the sitting areas and the BBQs since the residences serve mainly as summer houses.
